Had to look it up, just fact check myself.
Pre-2021 the states that had no law prohibiting sexual acts with and animal were:- Hawaii
- New Mexico
- West Virginia
- Wyoming
Mid-2021 Hawaii and Wyoming decided maybe they should have something on the books about maybe fucking an animal is possibly something we don’t want happening round these parts.
Hawaii it’s now either a misdemeanor or felony, depending on severity. Not really sure if I want to explore what the mean by “severity.” Surely once should be past the line. Wyoming it’s just a misdemeanor…So I guess all you fuckin weirdos can move to New Mexico or West Virginia to carry on abusing animals.

Ehhhhhhh…if in the States…depends on which state you’re in, in some it’s illegal…others it’s fine 👍

Exactly, it’s just an “evolution” of the whole White Saviour bit they love so much.
On the flip side, there was an article on the BBC website around a year ago. Basically the article was explaining how archeologists had no idea how the ancient folk made Stonehenge so accurately plumb and level, and how they’ve been experimenting for aaaages trying to figure it out…
Now, I’m a stonemason. And I can tell you exactly what they probably did, but the Big Brain people don’t like to ask people who work trades. (Or maybe they are just asking the wrong ones)
If you have figured out rope or string, and you have access to wood and a few stones, then it’s incredibly easy to level off an area, to make an accurate circle, and to make the tops of all the standing stones level and the uprights plumb.A basic plumb-bob is incredibly easy to make, in this instance we would use as straight a piece of wood as we can find, a length of rope tied to the middle of it, with a stone tied to the other end. For the uprights, get straight logs as long as each stone going into the ground. Now we have our standing stone analogues, and a plumb-bob. Dig the holes for the uprights, plop the logs down in the hole, if the plumb-bob isn’t pointing straight down between the two logs, one side has to go down.
There, mystery solved. Thanks for coming to my TEDtalk.

Around that time I was a swamper on a moving truck, we had been just using a map book, worked fine. The owner decided TomTom was the future, and wanted us using it, no arguments!
We’re going down the highway, fully loaded, probably going a bit faster than we should, and TomTom, in it’s infinite wisdom, yells “Sharp left here!” This is Canada, and we were halfway between exits, a sharp left turn would have put us through the concrete barriers and into oncoming traffic. Needless to say, we turned Tom off, and carried on with the map book… - Comment on Doom on a Volumetric Display 3 weeks ago:

I mean…if they’re signing along to the radio, I’d say that’s really dangerous and needs to be cracked down on! Can’t sign sign language with both hands on the wheel after all!
Singing should be absolutely fine though.

But overall it came up short
Know what was actually really, really good?
The tie in podcast. Great production value, great voice actors, and really great story, character development and pacing!
I grab Calisto Protocol off Epic, but only because it’s free. I watched some reviews and gameplay footage, and it’s…kinda meh. From what I saw of gameplay, the story is a bit reductive, and, unless they fixed it the melee combat is a bit of a joke. - Comment on Is Callisto Protocol a hidden Dead Space remake? 5 weeks ago:

The Jin-Roh reference? Fucking Chef’s Kiss!
One of my favourite movies of all time, not just anime, that film is SSS Tier cinematography and I don’t care if people think you shouldn’t use cinematography in reference to animation. - Comment on Anon's gf is unfulfilled 1 month ago:

Don’t have a steamdeck, I did know you can charge stuff off it though. Idk about you, but I often forget to charge my buds, and forget things like my external battery or cables(or the buds themselves) at home as I run out the door.
I wasn’t saying that these scenarios would be a daily occurrence, but I can definitely remember enough times that I’d have to count on both hands I’ve seen someone making a call on the bus with a phablet or tablet. And maybe where you live people have enough respect for the people around them, but every city I’ve ever lived there’s someone talking really loud on speaker about something they really shouldn’t be at least once a month that I personally encounter. - Comment on Anon checks out mobile gaming 1 month ago:
Yeah, but then your buds die, and you’re either the schmuck holding a steamdeck to the side of gheir head, or the asshole holding their steamdeck an inch in front of their face with their GP on speaker explaining in grim detail the colour of the fluid seeping from their piles…

search engines are a wasteland of paid results and spam
Last night I spent 45mins searching for something that I had found in the top 3 results 8 months ago. It was buried on the 3rd page. None of the other results had anything to do with what I was actually searching for.
