But that’s true of all software in a way.
Facebook wasn’t developed for you. Nor was… Microsoft Windows or anything else. They were developed to make their companies money. - Comment on 4 weeks ago:

I liked it but that may be attributed to the fact that I went in with low expectations - imo the 1st one’s story was pretty generic. It had interesting bits but for the most part it was full of played out tropes - good guy’s good, bad guy is a caricature that’s just evil for the sake of it (and does the evil laugh ofc), etc…
And like the 1st one I played it co-op with a friend - that’s always more fun.
But it was seriously buggy like nothing I’ve ever seen before. At times we were wondering if it was even possible to finish the game, but after dozens of disconnects and reconnects and restarting the game, eventually it worked.

Pretty cool. I like that these guys support their games long after release.
Hope they fix some of the many many bugs too, this has to be one of the buggiest games I have ever played 🙂 - Comment on If you shop by unit prices, double check the math! 2 months ago:
Afaik that’s deliberate to force the driver to get to the destination asap at all costs, but also to lie to the customer that their ride is just a few minutes away so there’s no need to cancel or look for alternatives.

I finally lost it with all the spoon-feeding and the hand-holding during missions, and when daddy rockstar did not like it when I did not play EXACTLY how they wanted me to, standing in the wrong spot - mission failed, try a different strategy - mission failed, jumped directly outside Danbury’s window - guess what - mission failed because Danbury just had a divine vision and destroyed the documents in a second. Fuck this shit.
I’m not necessarily with you on the other points. I guess I’m used to NPCs only spewing generic, canned lines. But this sucks so much. Huge issue imo.

Loved that movie. Glad to see other people remember it 🙂

I hate that this is an issue nowadays, and use this as proof that big corpos are holding us back. They’re not helping develop the internet or technology, they’re actively working against that to keep us locked in their walled gardens.
