If you want a sample of how crazy Chinese history can get look at the Tai Ping rebellion:
- Student fails Civil Servant Exam for the third time and has a mental breakdown
- starts claiming he’s Jesus’ little brother who trained him to fight demons in his dreams
- more dead than WWI

Turning and turning in the widening gyre The falcon cannot hear the falconer; Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold; Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world, The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere The ceremony of innocence is drowned; The best lack all conviction, while the worst Are full of passionate intensity.

It hasn’t been released yet. WSJ only got to look at the original which I believe is still in the DOJs possession.

Better trade relations if we keep imposing tariffs on them, obv.
- Comment on The one good thing about all this 5 months ago:
Putting tariffs on Taiwan is the first step to making them reconcile with China.
Cambodia at 97% highlights how fucking moronic this all is. Let me reindustrialize the economy by cutting off our raw inputs.

This is actually harsher on China than the wiki page for the incident.

Zuckerburg is furious that dems dragged him before congress and tried to blame Trump winning on Facebook.

TBH I think his South African background is overstated when it comes to understanding his personality. His opinion on eugenics is way more influenced by e/acc freaks in Silicon Valley than Apartheid.

Rich, probably autistic, definitely on a cocktail of drugs which at least includes some designer method, surrounded by yes men irl, and way, way too online, more than half way to being a 4channer. This guy is so rich that he thinks he can act unilaterally in US history like a late Roman Senator and to an extent he’s correct. So yes he’s testing the limits but he’s also absolutely lost in his own sauce.

If we’re being specific I’d say those people cheered on Iraq and Afghanistan as well. Bipartisan war hawks.

Trump brought tiktok back but with more censorship. “Free Palestine” is now banned on TikTok. Last I checked .ml was still playing with RedNote.

The ADL serves Israel and only Israel and Trump is Shahanshah in Israel. Its a thoroughly discredited organization especially over the last year.

This is the academic and historical definition of liberalism that I’m using. Your US civics teacher gave you the brain damage to think liberalism is the opposite of conservatism and not just a clever slander of progressives.
- Comment on Torrent of Hate for Health Insurance Industry Follows C.E.O.’s Killing 9 months ago:
Different evolutions of the same ideological movement representing the same socioeconomic class. How is this hard to understand? All US presidents have been liberals. Different types of liberals exist but they are still liberals.
- Comment on Torrent of Hate for Health Insurance Industry Follows C.E.O.’s Killing 9 months ago:
You seem to have some completely backwards idea that liberals are anti-billionaire socialists when liberalism is pro-capitalism by definition. NY Times is the mouthpiece of american liberalism.
- Comment on Torrent of Hate for Health Insurance Industry Follows C.E.O.’s Killing 9 months ago:
Ahistorical nonsense. They don’t believe in a nobility by birth, but they absolutely believe that some people “are just better than others” and who should rule. Its so foundational to the ideology that its written into the US Constitution. Anyone who believes that capitalism is a meritocracy (ie Liberals) believes there should be a liberal elite.
- Comment on Torrent of Hate for Health Insurance Industry Follows C.E.O.’s Killing 9 months ago:
This guys roughly as popular as Bernie Sanders was in 2015 and the NY Times somehow can’t connect the dots.
- Comment on Torrent of Hate for Health Insurance Industry Follows C.E.O.’s Killing 9 months ago:
In our day and age liberalism is center right. It was left wing back in Napoleonic times. But its post-cold war now. Capitalism and thoroughly replaced feudalism.
- Comment on Torrent of Hate for Health Insurance Industry Follows C.E.O.’s Killing 9 months ago:
The Bourgeoisie are the elite in liberal democracies, and liberalism is their ideology.
Do not confuse liberalism with progressivism or leftism. It’s dead centrist at the moment.

Its actually way down now. That line jump is from Thompson selling his stocks before getting his claim denied. One of the reasons people suspected it being a hired hit (which I doubt).

The entire goal of IDF PR is this.

Wtf is that mean. Tunnels aren’t communication devices. Also Hezbollah famously has vast tunnel networks under southern Lebanon.
- Comment on Wait a minute, we've been going about this all the wrong way! 1 year ago:
Historically Hamas has been the amateurs and Hezbollah the pros. Hezbollah has actual victories against the IDF. Hamas’ military success last October was completely unprecedented. Its generally believed that Hezbollah trained Hamas into the fighting force it is now. And since Iran trained Hezbollah you get people claiming Hamas is an Iranian puppet.
