Fill it with trans-men, since woman means biological woman, they can’t object to a bunch of trans guys buying up all the flats.

Tory pandering to the rabid anti-eu minority leaves us in this situation.
- Comment on Marathon is delayed 9 hours ago:
Marathon was pretty innovative at the time. The fact that there was any form of plot at all was unique in the action and shooter genres. It was the first major release with free look and being able to aim up and down at all. Plus reloading weapons, dual wielding weapons, weapon models visible on the player in multiplayer, plus network voice chat pretty much all of which have become standard in shooters today.

When do we want it, by the end of the next parliament!
- Comment on Marathon is delayed 9 hours ago:
And whatever this new Marathon is it bears exactly zero relation to the original. Innovative, original, single player experience vs derivitave, cut and paste multiplayer “live service” grift.

Money is why, you expect amazon to pay extra money to setup a closed loop system when they could offset the costs to the water company?

They can’t even treat water with literal shit in it before dumping it back into rivers and the sea. Why would they be able to do any better with data centres.

Thank god our wonderful privately owned water companies are so good and efficient and forward thinking and have planned ahead for a growing population and drying climate and built extra capacity and have invested in eliminating leaks and waste and improved the sewage trameatment system right?
The profit motive is literally the only possible way you could get an organisation to be so efficient!
- Comment on Petrol bombs thrown at police during fifth night of Northern Ireland disorder 1 day ago:
It’s interesting to me, though sadly not surprising, that of the thousands of rapes and sexual assaults reported in northern Ireland every year it’s the one that allegedly involves a foreign national that sparks a huge riot.
Almost as if these people don’t actually care about girls being raped at all and just hate foreigners.

- Comment on Sizewell C power station to be built as part of UK’s £14bn nuclear investment 6 days ago:
What happens when it’s not windy or sunny? Burning gas. Sure it’s expensive and will be late but nuclear is not in stead of more renewables, it’s in addition to. They also pledged to double the amount of offshore wind (which already makes up around 20% of UK energy) in the same announcement.

While yes it is a legally binding contract, the penalties must be laid out in that same contract and will usually be limited to any direct losses as a result of an employee quitting without notice which are, by definition, limited.
If the reverse happens, the employee would be entitled to their pay for the remainder of the notice period.

Episodes where Lisa is 38 = 1
Episodes where Lisa is a child = 767
- Comment on Rule 34 rule 3 weeks ago:
Because as I said, people with an interest in CSAM tend to escalate in their behaviour. Most don’t jump straight into child pornography but start with less serious things like jailbait and non-sexualised images of children etc. It doesn’t take a huge leap to see the same pathway with images of fictional children.
I’m not suggesting that everyone into this material will go on to abuse children or start to consume actual CSAM but there’s a non-zero amount of actual paedophiles who started their journey with this exact material.
- Comment on Rule 34 rule 3 weeks ago:
the majority of horny humans would choose a 9(?) Yr old.
Selection bias, it’s a large number of people who are actively seeking out R34 content, we also don’t know if it’s an actual majority because we don’t have a total number, just these top figures.
- Comment on Rule 34 rule 3 weeks ago:
I’m normally an anti-slippery slope person but there’s a definite escalatory nature to how paedophiles operate, it’s easy to see how images of fictional children can evolve into images of actual children.
- Comment on Rule 34 rule 3 weeks ago:
Er, that’s not the most worrying thing about someone jerking to Lisa Simpson.
What you need to worry about is the fact she’s 8 years old.
- Comment on A “victim blaming” row has broken out on social media, after a cyclist uploaded footage of what he described as the “closest pass I’ve ever seen” 3 weeks ago:
Being angry at a cyclist for not using a cycle lane is like basing angry for a blue badge user not parking in a disabled bay. It’s an extra provision, not a requirement to be used. There’s any number of reasons why it might not be safe to be riding in the cycle lane, the large number of bikes already being there in the clip are a perfect example.

Dancing baby was everywhere, truly the first Internet driven viral phenomenon. And yes, it did feature in Ally McBeal which was a huge TV show mid-late 90s which goes to illustrate how truly viral the dancing baby meme was at a time where Internet usage was still limited to only a minority of people with access to desktop computers.
