Just an FYI for context on the picture. Best way to clean fryers is to “boil out”: Dump the old oil, fill up with water and degreaser and turn the burners on. You use the ice in the baskets because as the water starts to boil it bubbles up and hits the ice, melting a bit and bringing the temperature down and you leave it to do it’s thing until the ice has melted fully, then you turn the burners off and then dump the dirty water.

Then a quick wipe of the inside, flush through with clean water and refill with your clean oil.

Or you can choose to end your life by dumping a basket of ice in the fryer for lolz, I’ve seen it happen and it’s hilarious until the kitchen gets shut down with fire suppressant going off and people get fired.
