- Comment on Xbox president: Studio closures will ensure 'business is healthy for the long term' 1 day ago:
If you didn’t buy up studios and then close them in a year, I think that would be even better for the business side of things. You know, the fact the business didn’t get arbitrarily shut down by the big corporation and all that.
But that’s just me.

- Comment on [Serious] Do you know of any processed snack foods with some vitamins? 1 week ago:
How about fun shapes of healthy foods? There’s this YouTube video of someone doing some youtu.be/5kZwTPGhkdA?si=cDgP6DiKXdKf77ej
How about some dried fruits or dried vegetables like you can buy in bulk bags at a store like a health food store? My mom and dad got me hooked on dried pineapple and other dried fruits as a kid.

My religion specifically states that I am commanded to take a day off for the explicit purpose to rest.
This is your cue that both science and religion are telling you to rest and enjoy the beauty of this world.

I mean it’s enabling Disney to do it, isn’t it?
It’s a luxury service. It’s not a necessity. If it were a necessity, I wouldn’t blame other customers because everyone needs it. But when you keep giving money to a company who keeps raising the price without doing anything to benefit you, you can’t tell me that’s not enabling these anti-consumerist practices.
Going back to the Disney parks, with the price increases, they have actually taken away benefits like no black out dates, forcing members into reservations, and more. And yet people still pay for this…?
Yeah, it is a shame for the rest of us that don’t put up with this and vote with our wallets because it means nothing.
- Comment on [deleted] 2 weeks ago:
Not surprising when you look at how much they’ve increased their annual park subscription.
And to be honest, I can’t blame them when people keep buying it and they’re still keeping the parks full. I wouldn’t hesitate that they are having a lot of subscribers too and hardly anyone leaves when they increase the price.
Such a shame for the rest of us that don’t want to put up with these price hikes.
- Comment on Garry's Mod to remove ALL Nintendo content from the Steam Workshop due to takedown 2 weeks ago:
Think of all the money Nintendo lost over people playing that custom content that was paying homage to their beloved titles! Man, sure glad Nintendo scared them into taking those down.
- Comment on How my morning is going... 3 weeks ago:
Those fuckers got away so nicely for having such shitty security practices. They have the nerve to ask me to sign up for a paid subscription every time I log in to check my score with them.
Motherfucker, I don’t even want to use your services for free. I’m required to as long as I have to play the credit game and it’s honestly really unfair you get to stay in business and barely got a slap on the wrist for all the shit you caused for millions of people.
- Comment on What is your most watched movie, and how many times did you watch it? 4 weeks ago:
I Love You, Man
It’s not a cinematic masterpiece and I don’t care. It’s just a fun movie from the mid-2010’s from the friends of Seth Rogen about friendship and it’s something I like having on as background noise now but I love revisiting it and the atmosphere it had, reminding me of the 2010’s and good times I had with friends back then.

I have to remind myself when I think about this skit that they did not actually get James Gandolfini to reprise his role. He does such a good job at portraying him and the whole idea was funny as fuck.

- Comment on Gameplay mechanics were also a lot better with more replayability. 5 weeks ago:
What games were buggy for you? I’ve been replaying a lot of older games I used to play from my childhood (SNES to Xbox 360/PS3/Wii era) and not coming up with a lot of bugs except from emulation.
- Comment on This laptop released in 2016 no longer receive OS updates. Which means I can't update Chrome Browser 5 weeks ago:
I have a Chromebook and it’s ridiculous how difficult they made it to install another OS.
I eventually did, but I needed to get something to flash a third party boatloader and at first I was told my laptop was not supported.
But getting an actual Linux distro has been so much better than ChomeOS.
- Comment on Thrill seekers 1 month ago:
That’s what I’ve always wondered because most storebrands, including Kirkland, are just rebrands of a name brand. So no idea what company is producing those with Costco/Kirkland slapping their name on it.
But whoever it is, they make some awesome pants.
- Comment on Thrill seekers 1 month ago:
Their jeans are phenomenal and cheap in price too. Think it was $15 for a pair and they fit well and feel great and last well. I bought some Levi’s from there for a higher price and I don’t like them as much as I like the Kirkland brand. Too stiff and too tight and more expensive.
- Comment on Windows 10 and its shortage of "Never shove this screen in my face again" buttons 1 month ago:
This whole rapey lingo needs to fucking die already.
No means no, corporations. Not “maybe later”, not “remind me later”…it’s a yes or a no.
Every company does it now and I’m sick to death of it. Even for the free trials like YouTube Premium. I don’t want your fucking shit. Leave me alone.
- Comment on Nintendo emulator Pizza Emulators pulls its apps from Google Play store 1 month ago:
Exactly what Nintendo was hoping for. I can’t blame the developers, though. But this sucks.
Old ass game systems where it’s practically impossible or expensive to get the physical games anymore, let alone the console, with some titles locked to those systems, never to be enjoyed again except through emulation.
- Comment on Ubisofts customer values 3 months ago:
Just the way they go.
Steam is a success. Well we can too! We’ll force our launcher on them and they’ll love it like they love Steam. Forget that people hated Steam when it first came out and that they had years to work out the bugs and they offer more than just Valve games and it’s not always required. Also the remember me button actually works!
GamePass was a success. Well we can too! We’ll force our subscription on them and they’ll love it like they love GamePass!
They just keep repeating this same cycle of copying the other guys, wanting the pros that come with it but not thinking about the small parts that made theirs work and Ubisoft’s suck.

Jerry Seinfeld made a vague comment about the Seinfeld TV show and some things to come and possible work with Larry David back in October 2023 esquire.com/…/seinfeld-reboot-release-date-traile… so it’s likely Larry isn’t done yet and just wants some other projects to work on instead of Curb.

- Comment on MSI teasing a handheld gaming PC like the Steam Deck 4 months ago:
I hope they ditch Windows and use SteamOS or any Linux variant at this point.
The Steam Deck’s OS is one of its best features and Windows is not viable for handheld devices.
And what’s better is that it’s free! There is no reason to slap on an extra $100 to pass onto the consumer because you had to pay some corporation a license for using their OS, giving them more market share they don’t deserve.
One of the best and most needed features of a handheld has to be the standby feature too. The ability to “lock” the device mid-gameplay and come back to it is not only good but necessary. Windows doesn’t have anything like this but SteamOS on the Deck does!

- Comment on Has google stopped working for finding anything? 4 months ago:
This is what I hate. Sometimes I like to search up “life on mars” and see the various pictures people have created and the images people claim have life in them.
But I always get results for a television show of the same name that has absolutely nothing to do with the planet…

- Comment on stupid smart TVs 4 months ago:
I had this issue too but I was able to find a setting to enable something about “last app” so it would only open to the last app I had it on, not auto switching to whatever the fuck it wanted to open on start up.
That was so annoying. I hardly use my Xbox anymore but it always defaulted to that for some reason.
Granted, my Samsung TV is, unfortunately, connected to the internet and I keep it updated so it is possible that a new update has enabled this setting for me at some point.

- Comment on New Paramount Takeover Buzz Could Impact Star Trek Franchise 4 months ago:
Your intentions are good, but just know that they are also counting who watches the content on their platform and they get the most purest numbers on this new platform since they have created it and manage it more than when it was on network or cable.
Your paid subscription to P+ doesn’t necessarily tell them you want more Star Trek, because you could be someone who forgot to unsubscribe, Halo, NCIS, or anything else.

These don’t require special litter or anything, do they?
I’m always wary of things like smart vacuums that require special bags and this feels like one of those but didn’t see anything on the Amazon page specifically saying that.
