Making my point
- Comment on non vegan pizza time 5 months ago:
Aaaaand you’ve willfully ignored what I’ve said so you can do more grandstanding. This is precisely what I’m referring to. Your first sentence shows that you didn’t even grasp what I said in the slightest.
For context, I was saying that meat corporations were paying trolls to make vegans look like loons and idiots, the exact opposite of what you’ve claimed.
I can think of two possible reasons for your complete failure at a response.
First, because you felt the slightest opposition to your position, even if the opposition is only to your methods, was a personal attack, or second, because I nailed it, called you out, and you felt you needed to cover your ass. And based on the complete disconnect between my comment actually said and the ignorant content of your own, I’d say the latter is entirely possible. - Comment on non vegan pizza time 5 months ago:

Thinking about it, it is strange that such extremist behavior seems so prevalent around here. In the real world, I haven’t heard much like this since the Australian couple that malnourished their puppies years ago. They displayed the same level of smugness the whole time.
On the fediverse, however, it seems like I see someone yelling “carnist rapist murderer” every couple of days. I’m honestly starting to think that there actually might be some kind of corpo-backed false-flag going on here, it’s so extreme and constant. There are people in this thread alone who are so extreme it reaches the point of parody.

Yes, they did. Either way, however, not shearing domestic sheep is harmful to them, and I’ve personally seen the molestation “argument” appear in response to such a statement in the past.
Someone who’s more informed might respond with something about the selective breeding. Plenty will still respond with the same energy already seen within this thread.

Can’t help but notice the sudden influx of downvotes for any comment that isn’t making the claim that all farmers fuck cows. It’s almost like some kind of brigade.
- Comment on non vegan pizza time 5 months ago:
Let me ask you this: where do you stand on sheering sheep?
- Comment on non vegan pizza time 5 months ago:
I came up with an idea recently so I just have to ask: are you a false flag? Your behavior doesn’t serve to make anyone more open to your position. In fact, it serves the exact opposite purpose. So, really, are you a false flag trying to make people less receptive to veganism as a whole or what?
- Comment on non vegan pizza time 5 months ago:
It makes me think of that Stone Henge thing just recently. That was such a despicable shit show that people have been calling it a false flag to distance it from actual activism.
- Comment on non vegan pizza time 5 months ago:
The screaming, raging, seething and antagonizing only serves to make people less receptive to such ventures.
- Comment on non vegan pizza time 5 months ago:
I honestly wish people as irritating as you had their own instance so I could just block it outright without the extra work.

I don’t know if you’re just confidently incorrect or intentionally lying, but either way, you’re wrong. Rowling owns the rights to the Harry Potter IP, a fact that can easily be verified using multiple sources with a simple search. As such, she makes royalties on every single use of the IP.

I see your position, my response was more a vent about the thread in general up to this point, and people like Nima up there, who would prefer to pretend the matter doesn’t exist at all. I wouldn’t consider people like that allies. They’re closer to the group of racists who like to claim that racism doesn’t exist any more.
The fact is, that was my point from the beginning. It literally started with “No, Harry Potter and transphobia are not totally separate issues,” (albeit in a sarcastic manner returning the energy I was initially met with) which is a concept that immediately drew vitriol.
Your response seemed genuine, but also seemed to miss the point, which is why you caught my venting.
- Comment on [deleted] 6 months ago:
Not at all. In fact, denial is a common tactic. See the “racism doesn’t exist” crowd for a prime example. I think you’ll find it’s full of racists.
- Comment on [deleted] 6 months ago:
Well, someone said terfs had nothing to do with Harry Potter, I said the IP is owned by a terf who makes millions from it, and you said “Yawn,” so… Yeah, pretty much.
- Comment on [deleted] 6 months ago:
Put simply, a terf owns the IP, money flows back to her. Outright denial of this fact is borderline transphobic itself.
- Comment on [deleted] 6 months ago:
You’re borderline if you’re happy to sit around and pretend it has nothing at all to do with Harry Potter as a series.
- Comment on [deleted] 6 months ago:
Ya know what the absolute funniest thing about this is? This all started with the question of “What does transphobia have to do with Harry Potter?”
Can’t help but notice that every answer but mine has been “nothing.” Super interesting response right there. And every response to my explanations that, yes, Rowling is a transphobe, and yes, she does profit from this, has been overwhelmingly negative. Super duper interesting I’d say.
To summarize this thread, “Yeah, fuck transphobia, but fuck you if you remind me that it is, in fact, relevant to Harry Potter!”
- Comment on [deleted] 6 months ago:
What a long-winded way of telling me you want to support transphobia.
- Comment on [deleted] 6 months ago:
Just admit you’re transphobic, it’s a lot easier.
- Comment on [deleted] 6 months ago:
Where does the money flow, mother fucker?
- Comment on [deleted] 6 months ago:
Gee, what could a game in ab I.P. created by a terf have to do with terfs? Scientists will ponder this for years. I mean, it’s not like J.K. Rowling owns the I.P. and makes millions of dollars per year from things like this, right?

Dorsey was on a tear yesterday, unfollowing all but three accounts on X while referring to Elon Musk’s platform as “freedom technology.”
Ah, I see. He went insane.

Those uncrustables, though delicious, cost way more than they’re worth. You would spend as much, maybe even less, on peanut butter and jelly in jars, which would obviously last much longer.
