Lol I was looking into this the other day. From what I understand it’s to prevent too much power being with any one group in US govt …
Short answer is no, most countries have rules that see public servants (govt. employees) paid even when a departments budget has not been agreed - for example Belgium en.wikipedia.org/…/2010–2011_Belgian_government_f…

You seem to think if I were to write an app for Windows and release it tomorrow that it means Microsoft support my app.
Did I say this?
The road outside my house supports cars, lorries, bicycles and foot traffic. If I breakdown on the road the local govt. will not come and fix my car.

I quite explicitly named lutris and heroic which are 3rd party apps. These apps are installable via Discover which is the app store running on the OS. I’d agree the wording could be seen as ambiguous.
Sony and Xbox do NOT support any other app stores on their devices - I think the use of support is clear and understandable in this statement.

Steam deck supports Xbox live streaming, gog, epic via lutris and heroic. Is about as far from a locked down ecosystem as one could possibly get.

Half-Life: Alyx is still the best FPS VR game I’ve played. Great story, environment, production values, variety, everything.

Good point! A satellite is more likely to orbit a planet monitoring things I guess? It’s been a while since I’ve played Kerbal Space Program!

This is a sling. Bottom right corner is a catapult and uses stored energy (the elastic - sorry if wrong wording.) To me at least the idea of sling that pivots around the user’s hand is much closer to the action of using a planet’s gravitational pull to sling a satellite onwards.

- Comment on The White House is paving over the Rose Garden with concrete. People are outraged 9 months ago:
“Just inspected the site of the new Ballroom that will be built, compliments of a man known as Donald J. Trump, at the White House,” he began in a post on Truth Social earlier this month.
"For 150 years, Presidents, and many others, have wanted a beautiful Ballroom, but it never got built because nobody previously had any knowledge or experience in doing such things — But I do, like maybe nobody else, and it will go up quickly, and be a wonderful addition, very much in keeping with the magnificent White House itself.
He is so fucking full of himself is almost unbelievable. I’m sure this will turn out just as well as the wall that’s being built and paid for by Mexico.
