Hate is hate, racism is racism. There are and should be no levels of them. Who makes the rules for what is more or less racist? Why should any be tolerated?
When I was 12 and an idiot in many ways, I might’ve responded to many racist words against me (I am of Sikh heritage) with racist words back because that’s just a simple and natural response. The correct thing to do is to pull us both up on it equally and say both are wrong and get an equal punishment, or even better, education on why they are wrong to use. Now if that happens between a Sikh and a Muslim, both would be “equally racist”. If it was between a Sikh and a Jewish person, then even if the Jewish person “started it”, you are saying the Sikh should be punished more because one is worse than the other? How about if the antisemitism does not mention the holocaust?
It just doesn’t make any sense to single one thing out when we have clear guidance and public acceptance on what is racism and that it should be stamped out.
It is good to point out that antisemitism is rising. However, any person making that argument cannot deny that islamophobia is also rising, as is anti-immigrant hate. We should be looking to combat all of it, overwise you are saying one group of people is more important that another, which is by definition racism.
You can’t combat racism with more racism!
It is clear that antisemitism is being taken more seriously by the British establishment than any other forms of racism. That is why you are being challenged here. Even on a personal level, I am often mistaken to be Muslim and suffer racism from time to time, and the Sikh community has suffered anti-Sikh racism. I am still supportive of stamping out all racism including antisemitism and islamaphobia.
Academics and International bodies agree that what happened and still happening in Gaza is genocide.
OAPs get arrested for holding up signs whilst a public group of white supremists with public Instagram accounts marching in hoods on our streets aren’t even being tracked by the police:

While I agree with the sentiment that we should treat all incidents of religious or racial hate-crime similarly and we shouldn’t single out one particular group above another, the twitter commenter shown above is taking a ridiculous, vitriolic position not based in fact. Especially when Islamophobic hate-crime already has its own special category within hate crime legislation and the government publishes specific guidance around it in exactly the way this report wants for antisemitism:
gov.uk/…/a-definition-of-anti-muslim-hostility
This sort of relentless focus on anti-antisemitism studies and reports very much smacks of someone who themself can’t distinguish between anti-zionist/anti-israeli genocide campaigns and actually just hating Jewish people.

What isn’t factual? Is there monitoring for Islamophobic bullying in schools?
Newsflash Tommy Robinson and Nigel Farage exist and they’re publicly spewing vitrol about Muslims and nothing is done about it.

That’s exactly what the government guidance I shared aims to encourage, just like this report into anti-semitism that hasn’t actually been published yet suggests. So there is no difference in how these two groups are treated in the eyes of the government except the islamophobic bullying guidance has been around for nearly 4 years whereas there is no such guidance currently for anti-semitism.
Nice whataboutism, just because there are awful people who hate Muslims, does that make it OK for there to be awful people who hate Jewish children?
I listened to a brief part of the link you shared and I don’t see how any of what was said, despite it being largely accurate, is at all relevant to the issue at hand which is antisemitic bullying of school children.
