I was at the convenience store today and this old guy was talking to the cashier about lottery tickets
The cashier says the lottery is at $80 million, and the old guy just says “nobody needs that much” and then walked away.

Wise man. You totally don’t. With muuuch less you’d never have to work again, ever (in the USA you’d need considerably more though). I stopped working with 25 or so, I don’t even remember when I retired.
This month I’ve been to the dentist, had 3 doctor’s appointments, and a cat scan, for a total of 300-ish USD. The joys of not living in America.
and a cat scan
Did they find any cats in you?
Not during the scan no, but maybe I’ll go to a furry convention sometime, we’ll see then.
And i was like “what? 300 moneyz? And he doesn’t get it back from insurance later?” 😁

How to tell “I’m American” without saying a word.
