we live in a world where a pedophile is president. but things are only getting worse. is activism even worth it any longer? it seems like we've hit an apex or wall here. i feel like being selfish.

  The power of rulers always seems inescapable. Presidents are not anymore immortal than kings, sultans,, or imperators. This, too, will end. The real question is how long will the populace carry the burden?

  Boycotts are the most effective protests these days. They so powerful that Australia and Israel tried to ban them, and the promotion of them.

  Citizens are consumers these days, so we have to use the loudest voice we can…our money.

    I don’t see any chance in boycotts getting citizens out of this situation. The respect that they too are humans and of the same worth as the ruling class needs to be renewed.

  A slave revolt can only happen when people recognize they are slaves. The revolution has to happen in the mind before the streets. Peaceful protests and activism are important in this day and age. Just look at the lack of response in Luigi Mangione’s heroism.

  I think things are getting worse faster because the people in power know the cat’s out of the bag. They’re trying to grab everything they can and to fortify themselves against the backlash they know is coming for them.

  We have these midterms and then the Presidential election in a couple years. Unfortunately, things will get even worse before they get better. But if we aren’t building the power to actually seize opportunities when they arise, we’ll fail to recover at all. Organizing is the best thing we can do.
