The book Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, and Fawlty Towers, Benny Hill, and Monty Python on PBS, were my introduction to British humor when I was a kid growing up in California.
My brother took me to see Holy Grail and Life of Brian.
I dunno why British humor hits so well with nerdy kids.
