  who ever said that other than some random comment? the traditional narrative is that they filmed it in the desert.

  filmmakers can make the most bootleg looking set resemble a real place (just ask stanley kubrick) so there’s no question they coulda faked the landing in 69’.

  these conspiracies always draw attention away from other thinking that’s more plausible than the quackery.

  maybe they faked the manned moon landing but sent an unmanned probe to the moon, which is why the soviets didn’t make a fuss.

  maybe the 9/11 attacks were real but the attackers were actually real guys who were persuaded to do it by some gov.

    Eh human life is expendable to the government, especially back then. If they could probe it I wouldn’t be shocked if they’d send dudes up there just to say they did.

    They had enough reason to hate us to do it on their own but I’d buy DC saw it coming and let it happen as an excuse to pass the patriot act.

  Hey hey hey, don’t talk smack about Best Wars. Hands down still one of the best damn Transformer shows out there. Writing was at least tiny bit better than G1 but what really made the show was the characters and dialogue. You don’t see a lot of shows with that kind of vibe/quality anymore.
