  You missed the part where you spend the rest of the day in a steady state of anxiety fearing that work will find out how ineffective you’ve been. And despite knowing how much you would suffer if you were fired you are powerless to stop yourself from repeating the same thing the next day. You consider how you likely only have ~20 years left, and they will all be like this, everyday…
