How come on The Price is Right you can't bid in change like 999.99 or for the jackoffs 1000.01? Or can you but has never been attempted?

  bid in whole dollars–and values of items bid on are also rounded to the nearest dollar, too. i think that’s just part of the rules. as far as i can remember, only a few of the pricing ‘games’ (and the big wheel, of course) had things in cents or dollars+cents.
