It’s no mistake, trying to have a firesale of the land is nothing but deliberate sabotage.

Almost as if the current government has financial interests in fossil fuel companies, exposing them to risk from any reduction in fossil fuel dependency

Nice to have something to smile over when it comes to the Tories and their shenanigans. The only reason he had to sell this land was to make it harder for anyone else to complete the project.

The only reason the cost ballooned so much was because they were totally irresponsible in the first place and kept making modifications to the design to make more and more of it underground at great expense.
They should have been made to start it in the north. If the plan was always to build the whole thing then it shouldn’t have made any difference to them. But no.
All infrastructure projects should start in the north, if they actually complete them they can connect them to the south, is there any way to ensure the North ever actually gets anything.

With you all the way on build in the north first policy. There is a video knocking around on the ballooning costs.
