      Just would be nice if the most powerful person in the country could actually set out some sort of plan of action for once, rather than just wait around for someone else to do it.

  Translation: Popular adages equating China with low quality haven’t been true in years (if not decades), everybody knows it, the real “problem” with China is their military/space programmes. As for the US, well, 51st state and all that. Sorry… Brexit was a mistake, the UK should have stayed with the EU. Now they have to kowtow to the US and they shouldn’t have to.

  I don’t blame him. Choice of one stable and expanding authoritarian regime and one unstable and expanding authoritarian regime. Do the Chinese police hold nurses down in the street and shoot them?
