We make our dog sit at the door and wait for a command to exit, so that they don’t run out unexpectedly. Normally they’re raring to go and sprint out the second we say the word, but the past few days they’re just as likely to turn around and run back to the couch instead of stepping outside
-16 °C here, puppers, so same

When I first got my dog, it took me a few days to notice that the reason he wasn’t asking to go outside as much in winter was because he was sneaking into the unused bedroom and pooping there.

Outhouses are actually better in the winter than in the summer, so long as your cheeks don’t stick too much.
