      uhhh… Bukkake noodles is the actual name of a real dish. Bukkake is a Japanese word roughly meaning “to splash” and in meals using the word it means that a hot broth has been poured over the dish.

      Maybe I’m missing something somewhere but I don’t see any particular clues of this being AI, rather this seems like English speakers being uninformed about the origins of the words they use

        Yeah, along with words changing meaning over time. I’m sure most people in Japan familiar who are online are aware of the newer meaning.
