“No wonder people are throwing trash and flying drones,” said Mr. Burnette, 36, who, as he walked, picked up tissues and wrappers that had been discarded on the valley floor. “I can’t be mad at them.”

There’s ZERO excuse for littering; you can, indeed, be mad at them!

  Yeah, you really shouldn’t need a park ranger lecturing you to understand that throwing garbage wherever in a national park is bad. That said, apparently you do so maybe give those rangers their jobs back.
