    And if you have a job “with tips”, it’s like two bucks and change minimum wage.

    Every year, unions lose a little more. Was at 40% in our heyday (50s), now down to 10% (and most of those are feds and police).

    If only we had some kind of labor party, that would be neat

      Yeah most union jobs are government jobs at this point. And you might disagree, but I don’t think government jobs should be allowed collective bargaining rights. Maybe, if everyone else has them first.
