  2 passes. Face lather. Excellent shave.

  This was my second use of Atchafalaya. It is a subtle and intriguing scent. It opens with wild blackberry and that scent is distinguishable but blends with the rest of the fragrance quickly. As the scent opens up, I get whiffs of wood, grass, and earth. There’s a feeling of dampness that pervades, but it is light and not boggy. I’m not sure this one’s for everybody, but it kind of fascinates me.

  Adventus Day 21

  Today’s soap is Seaforth! Spiced by Spearhead Shaving Co. It made a really nice lather. It didn’t really have any scent off the puck, but it arrived mid-lather. It’s spicy just not Old Spicy.

  Today’s satchel brought another bunch of frags: Maher Olfactive Santal Auster*, *Nefertiti*, *Treachery and Imaginary Authors Falling Into the Sea. My scent expert (wife) said they all smell like old lady scents. :)

  I scored a nice Old Spice mug on the ‘bay (Ship Grand Turk) appropriate for the 3 oz Old Spice puck I got earlier in the Calendar.
