The important bit is not that Paul was “sent home”, it is that “he will no longer be with the team”. In other words, he is fired.
The team is not “blaming Chris for [their] underperformance,” so there is likely something else going on. Did the Clippers get tipped off about a controversy involving Paul and want him listed as a “former player” in the news story?
Yeah my thought was are they trying to get ahead of a gambling investigation or something similar.
Lots of chatter. One story has it CP3 has become toxic- CP3 was critical of everyone in the org. He was criticizing the players the coaches and front office. Thus the 3 am “sent home” or cut from the team.
Lol couldn’t happen to a nicer guy. That is pretty brutal though at the very end of a career.

Fire Lawrence Frank please. This team is absolutely terrible and going nowhere. This is just an absolutely embarrassing look from an embarrassing franchise.
Let the dude go on a retirement tour. Let him get honored at the All-Star game at Intuit. Shameful.
