Preface: I know nothing about football
I get that there should be some sort of punishment for financial mismanagement but when the difference between playing in the championship and the Premier league is £millions it seems shortsighted to basically make it so there’s no chance they could get promoted and quite likely that they may in fact get demoted meaning they’ll lose out on huge revenue and make them a far less attractive for an investor to buy in or bail out.
