    so kids get given shitpads running an even more locked down version of microshit’s OS and they’re not allowed to install anything else, plus they’ll spend more time consuming on their phones than producing on computers because the laptops are more locked down than phones.

    Australian Governments are going to disadvantage Australian kids in future job markets because too many ignorant parent spend too much time on Facebook reading bullshit about how kids don’t go outside enough these days.

      As someone who is learning to be a teacher, I’ve found technology to be a bit of a distraction for some kids, but it can also work really well. I think there needs to be a balance. Also, if they limit screen time in primary schools, why don’t they limit it to 90 minutes in workplaces too?
