Suddenly? Like since the tariffs?

American auto companies want to sell less cars at high prices than lots of cars at affordable prices.
Also, GOP tariffs.

Let's be real . Batteries are not reliable and it's definitely not the solution for energy. Electricity sucks

American cars and Nissans are underengineered garbage I agree 100% but electric cars are fine, their real issue is they’re too fucking heavy and the lack of gas powered generators for extended range. The Chevy Volt, if it had 30kWh would be one of the best cars but they canned it, because of course like the rest of the country they have lost their marbles.
I want a 12k$ BYD seagull so bad but the american douches have made us in Canada put a 100% tarrif on BYD cars ! Like, not even the usual fake unfair impossible homologation that they use to disqualify all the good european cars, just straight up, you pay double !
And also no small pickups and no citycars, we are led by the most evil, bottom of the pond scum that have ever lived.
