To get a WWCC, you can go online and fill out a form. As long as you don’t have a criminal history, it seems like they’ll just give you one. I don’t know how they can overhaul this, but I hope the investigation they do gives them a way to figure it out.
I hope the children are okay.

A WWCC is simply a background check. It cannot tell if a person is good or going to commit a crime in the future.
The solution is to end for-profit centres and promote even higher ratios to ensure educators are supported and that there is never a situation for one to be alone with children to commit such an act.

This has raised the discussion for what is the worst punishment for a person. Is it death or life in jail?

Maybe it should raise the question of how we help these people heal and go back to being regular people.
You know, rather than how to make them suffer the most.

As much as it sounds horrible, this is the best solution to tackling the issue. The stigmatization around the 'mental illness', could prevent potential future abusers from seeking help before they act.

If this was possible it would have been done by now? (Honest statement not being sarcastic) if I had more spoons I would look up the research about reoffending even after jail time, chemical castration etc. The % of men (if I remember it was American research done only on men) suggested that "rehabilitation " is close to 0.

My partner is a survivor. Their answer to this question is death.
