  I would guess about 70% of homofobic people are gay themselfs. I mean, I’m not gay but I can not understand how other peoples sex life is my business. Tbf having to explain who you have sex with is creepy

    The openly gay and yet homophobic people I’ve met all had an issue with “queer mannerisms” rather than anything sex life related. They said things along the lines of “if people can tell you’re gay it’s performative and gross”. I think they just hated the queer aspects of their own personalities and projected that onto others.
