Not just gaming, production as well

I’ve had a lot of trouble with both of my last two intel chips. After buying two of their flagship CPUs that were riddled with problems and frequent crashes while gaming, I would wholeheartedly recommend AMD. The switch has been night and day for me.

This PC is basically top of the line.
Important question? Will be be running Windows or Linux?
Intel i9 14th gen and Nvidia graphics on Linux… Those CPUs have had issues and Nvidia graphics and Linux are a notorious frustration. Don’t get me wrong, I do it, it’s doable. It’s just a bit of troubleshooting here and there.
With Windows, this won’t be as much of a consideration.
But to answer your question, it’s top tier.

I think one other factor that people have not considered is the monitor. To run all games at 4K maximum settings, yes, this type of PC might be required. But at lower resolutions, such as 1080p or 1440p, this is overkill and one would be able to run any game as maximum settings even with a computer costing a third as much.

I play at 1440p, but competitive twitchy games at a super high frame rate. My 4090 does well for that.

Take the 9950X3D, your kid should thank you. It fares much better in games that are poorly optimized and should otherwise be just as good if not better than the Intel one.

Like the other commenter said the amd might be better for gaming, but either way this pc is incredibly powerful and you should have no problem running all games at very high settings.
