Hulu’s not available outside of the US.
Like… I get what you mean but Disney is now far more than princesses and Pixar movies.
In Canada, they have “Star” on top of it which has FX content like TWD, Preacher, AHS etc…
So personally, it’s been a while since I saw it as a kid’s only service… For my kids they have their age restricted profile on which they don’t see any of that stuff.

Why? There are parental controls, and you can adjust the content you see. If you don’t want mature themes or coarse language, you should adjust the settings on your account.
All of the Netflix Marvel shows were made prior to Disney acquiring Marvel Studios, and were created to tell the heavier mortality stories. Daredevil, JJ, Punisher, even Luke Cage dipped into some heavy shit. And they were all pretty good at it. All those characters were complex adults with real world issues and traumas. Kingpin was as human as he’s ever been in the comics. Cottonmouth and Mariah Stokes were people doing what they thought they had to do. Kilgrave is the answer to “what’s the worst that could happen?”
Disney wouldn’t make those now (as evidenced by all the punches they pulled in Moon Knight and Agatha All Along). But Disney owns them. Why pretend they don’t?
