The H5N1 strain of bird flu has been detected in a sheep in the UK.

It is the first time in the world the variant has been found in a sheep, although cases have previously been recorded in dairy cattle and other mammals.

Well, there is a mutton bird, and mutton is an older sheep, so I propose we call this mutton flu to save millions of unnecessary letters being typed to explain that what we are actually talking about is ‘bird flu in sheep’
