The UK government have got themselves a copy of 1984 and think it’s a how-to manual.
They are removing our basic rights to privacy and freedom of speech and we MUST fight back.
How do we fight back?
Don’t use cloud storage, encrypt your data locally and it’s out of reach of the UK government.
Only access the internet via a secure and reliable VPN (Mullvad or Proton) so all of your traffic is encrypted and private.
Use the Tor network where possible for greater privacy.
Use email aliases to hide your true address.
Don’t use centralised social media like Twitter and/or Facebook. Use decentralised sites instead like Lemmy.
Don’t use your real name ANYWHERE online.
Fuck Labour, Fuck Kier Stalin and Fuck the British Government.
Resist them. Resist today, Resist tomorrow, resist them in any way you possibly can.

Unfortunately they have even killed being able to just encrypt data. Because of the key disclosure law the police can request the password/key for any data in your possession regardless of whether it is random data or not. If you can’t, you go to jail. Literally everyone is a criminal.
Not even China or Russia have this type of authoritarian control over communication.

That’s what hidden and dummy partitions are for. You supply the password to the data you want them to see while keeping your real data private.
