I remember this was posted before, because I still feel the anger about the stupidity of this meme. Pumbaa is a warthog, and on the image it’s a clearly a wild boar.
I’m not a boar specialist, but I guess it’s a male Central European boar (Sus ඞ scrofa scrofa).
Get your facts straight! Stop spreading misinformation!

The meme doesn’t say anything about what type of animal it is though?

I never expected I have to explain Lion King, but here we are Lemmy…
Hakuna Matata is a song in the Disney’s implementation of Shakespeare’s Hamlet, The Lion King. In the cartoon Timon and Pumba sings the song, they are Rosenkrantz and Guildenstern in Shakespeare’s original play. In the cartoon they are a meerkat and a warthog. So from the title it sounds like this animal should be one of those singing Hakuna Matata, and it’s clearly not a meerkat. So in my intetpretation, the author thought this is a warthog, and associated the image with the song of the warthog from the cartoon.
