it’s just rage bait. I guess nazis get “woke” videos, or whatever they consider they other side. goog only cares about money. If they would want to convert you they would show only a bit more conservative and slowly get to the far side. I like consistency more than the actual style usually. The notification badge on the tiktok icon bothers me the most here, it should be fluffy as well
That was my biggest issue with the style of win8 and 10, chaotic. With win11 is finally mostly consistent… But I use linux and gnome now, but it’s annyoing if an app is qt, not gtk, and the chaos comes back again.

The illegal part is that they add a restriction. If card payment is available they should offer it to everyone. Cash payments are still common here in Hungary

If my card would be stolen, the thief could pay some amount without entering the pin on a contactless terminal. On the phone you can’t pay without touching the fingerprint reader, so it’s more secure from at least this common atttack vector
