One thing I found cool was how they explored things that the games just couldn’t. Like for example how the Knight - squire relationship works, how people reproduce both in and out of the vault, and most of all the brutality of the wasteland and how dangerous raiders can actually be.

I’m almost done with the first episode. I enjoyed what I saw so far. I want to talk about an inconsistency I noticed but I don’t know how to hide spoilers 🤭

::: Just do this And now we can mention the Todd Howard cameo where he eats an entire watermelon in one sitting. :::

Just finished first episode. Seems good so far, but less quirky than I expected.

Episode two ups the quirkiness quite a bit. I think the first episode just had a ton of character setup to get through.

I liked the wasteland guy she meets who totally feels like a videogame NPC, and has never been beyond the hill.

I also just finished episode one. I agree, there are definitely signs they are trying to be quirky like the old man saying “Get back here! Well that didn’t go as expected” when she left the vault, but I think they need to lean into it more. Something is just a little off.
I still enjoyed it though!
