  AirPods are one of those things that should only be purchased from a known retailer or person. eBay, FB Marketplace, etc is loaded with stolen and counterfeit AirPods. Don’t buy from a rando.

  Half of the posts in Reddit’s AirPods subreddit are people learning that they got burned.

  I once saw this live. A couple was arguing, he got out of the car, she yelled something and started going backwards without closing the door, and wrecked it with bollard.
