WTF is a Sims movie going to be? It’s literally a virtual dollhouse, there is no unifying story to tell.
The Sims movie in the works from Barbie’s Margot Robbie and director of Loki and The Last of Us Season 2

What unifying story did the barbie movie use?
I’m at least cautiously optimistic it might actually be a similar shtick to the barbie movie. Or a pure cash grab, real coin flip at this point.

I mean Barbie was basically both. It was done fairly well, but it was definitely a cash grabby movie about “other people have problems too”

unless this is movie about the pool ladder serial killer I fail to see what interesting plot hooks the Sims provides since it’s uh, you know, just a simulation of normal western life?

I don’t know maybe they become self-aware and protest all of the drowning victims that have suffered as a result of the removal of the pool stairs.

Following the Sims game and expansion pricing model: The first two thirds of the movie cost $16, but the rest of the movie is divvied up into even smaller sections, each costing $5
