    Recently visited and yes it is, eating at all on public transport in Tokyo is frowned upon. On a shinkanzen though, 10am beers & snacks.

    This is a hill I will die on: if you need to eat fast food immediately otherwise you will die, you can eat it before subjecting others on public transport to the fowl odour and your poor manners.
