  I freaking love bardcore. Have you heard Hasten To Church? It’s legitimately one of my favorite songs, and leagues superior (imo) to the original.

      Mind if I ask what you disliked? Like, bardcore in general or that in particular? You’re the first person I’ve seen who didn’t have an overwhelmingly positive reaction to it, other than a particularly religious friend who said the church latin made him very uncomfortable

        This is the only bardcore song I’ve heard short of ambient music in games (Skyrim, the Witcher, etc) so this is more of an impression than an opinion, but bardcore doesn’t seem to be my thing at all. This particular song is just way too damn impressive though, and is covering a song I love, so it feels like a bastardization and I can’t even call it that cuz they did such a good job with it lmao
