Smoke alarm dude may have been on time, but he moved the alarms for the third time in as many years. I refuse to believe the regulations have changed that often. They are now all out of non ladder reach so I canât hit the button when they get set off by humidity. Four times so far this afternoon. TheVoid literally shat himself.

That is totally not on. Can you disconnect it so you can stop it going off until they can come back and fix it?

I have borrowed a ladder from the neighbour and taken the fucker down. Not sure there is a fix that doesnât involve building works. Ha bloody ha!

Good thing. Itâs going to be hard enough to sleep tonight with the heat, an alarm activating all night would be awful. It also means you donât need my next suggestion of calling the Fire Brigade, who should know how to disconnect an alarm and also carry ladders. The big red trucks and flashing lights tends to draw a lot of attention though.
