If the French hadn’t supported the colonies, there would be no USA today. Their language is gibberish but we could learn some lessons from their revolting and how to march a noble toward the guillotine

I dunno, the French don’t need a fuckin Luigi to get them to pop off when their leaders do some dumb shit.
They’re all pretty ready to throw down against leaders who would hurt them.
Sounds pretty civilized to me.

This. Im not french, and while the surrender jokes can be slightly amusing at times, i feel a great sense of pride(?) everytime i see on the news that theyre protesting some new tyranny. Wish my lot were like that. Alas, we not only get trampled by the boot but kiss it as it passes by

Eh, the surrendering jokes are only because they’ve legitimately won more wars in history than any other European nation. Dunno if China or one of their neighbors might have the French beat. The French don’t care they have their baguette and coffee.
