We’ll have discussion with our kids on any range of topics. Our opinions might differ but they have a voice. And sometimes they’re right, which I’m happy to admit to them. At the same time, we encourage them to use logic and think of consequences (and causes) of different things.
Something I’ve never had with my parents, and my wife had even less.
It’s not perfect parenting, but I know my kids and our kids know us.
