Ironically, I was not honest with my parents, as they wouldnât really listen to my opinions.

Weâll have discussion with our kids on any range of topics. Our opinions might differ but they have a voice. And sometimes theyâre right, which Iâm happy to admit to them. At the same time, we encourage them to use logic and think of consequences (and causes) of different things.
Something Iâve never had with my parents, and my wife had even less.
Itâs not perfect parenting, but I know my kids and our kids know us.
