Happens in Canada too, only we actually have multiple parties. but the left sides tend to split the vote more whereas the right manages to have less splintering and usually will back one of the major conservative parties. It sucks honestly but I’m okay with it because at least I don’t feel my vote is wasted when I vote for an alternative.

Ilovethebomb@lemm.ee 1 week agoI’m not in the US, so I won’t be voting for any presidential candidates, but I’ve been impressed with AOC whenever I’ve seen her in interviews.
You’re right about the infighting thing though, and it seems to be endemic to left leaning parties everywhere, whereas the right usually seem to be a much more cohesive team.
