The opposite of true unless you’re looking for chunky or over beaten potatoes. Perforated head is vastly superior to thick wire trash. www.seriouseats.com/best-potato-mashers-5222111

Except you cant use that one to dothe crumbly ground beef trick. They are good if you only ever use them to mash potatoes.
