Sucks to suck! Jk. It’s just wild how much money gets spent on these things and all for nothing, basically. Crazy when you realize they make something like this and don’t even ask if fans will enjoy it
That said, I’m ‘gunna’ wait until Gunn’s first movie before I completely right off my dreams of a DC universe that’s on the same level as dark knight. I’m sure it would never be as r rated but I don’t think that’s entirely necessary, as much as I’d personally like it to be

more than anything it just seems like a massive loss of leverage for Phillips. he’ll probably get to make movies but never gonna get a long leash to make whatever he wants again.

If you’re referring to The Last Jedi, it made $1.3 billion on a $300 million profit. Joker 2 is set to flop.

If you’re referring to The Last Jedi (which wasn’t nearly as bad as Joker 2 apparently is), that was a pretty different situation with swapping directors in the middle of a trilogy, which was more of a problem with Disney and RJ imo. I’d still be confident giving RJ his own projects and coming out with a good product.
Here Todd Phillips just proved he could go completely off the deep end with his own sequel.
