Iâd like to add âsingle source of truthâ and âpain pointsâ to our lingo.
Also, profound dissatisfaction was a term I used today lol long story

What Iâve been working on recently includes the personal papers of somebody who was Not a Nice Person

Iâm actually really curious to know how âpain pointsâ are a thing in IT
Someone touched a live wire?
Maybe the deep existential pain that comes from the computer installing upgrades right in the middle of an unsaved important task or presentation đ€

itâs a stupid bloody phrase that basically means âIT are gonna be really MEAN to make this actually adhere to good practises and we corporate snots donât like thatâ
Motherfuckers. Theyâre issues. This article is a good example, Iâm not sure if you work IT, but as someone whoâs been doing it for nearly 30 years I am chewing my own tongue in rage at the suit-speak.

Interesting article - I see what you mean. Am also now feeling tempted to see if I can insert âladder upâ into a (non-IT) based work discussion, haha
Taleya@aussie.zone âš4â© âšweeksâ© ago
I saw âinsert ladderâ and that was it. my brain is filthy.
Gibsonhasafluffybutt@aussie.zone âš4â© âšweeksâ© ago
I think it applies broadly to any corpo project management. Translation from my perspective is: issues that need to be solved.
anotherspringchicken@aussie.zone âš4â© âšweeksâ© ago
Ah! TIL, thanks.
Itâs definitely what the IT person at my work suffers, from all the dumb questions lol
Gibsonhasafluffybutt@aussie.zone âš4â© âšweeksâ© ago
End users are definitely pain points lol
Taleya@aussie.zone âš4â© âšweeksâ© ago
we LIKE dumb questions. they indicate a desire to learn.
Itâs the dumb actions and dunning-kruger proclamations we canât stand.
