Nah, youâll feel like shit if it affects your cat.

Iâm wondering if I should spray a stinky orange cleaner or repellent around outside to discourage the visiting cats. I like them but Melbcat gets really stressed out and being an indoor kitty could feel like sheâs trapped with threats outside.
I just know orange oil and other essential oils/ strong scents are an asthma trigger and might waft back inside đ¤

Chilli powder can work.

They donât tend to go near it at all. Iâve used it on a fence as a paste to keep a neighbourhood cat our of my yard, and to keep my own contained before I built their cat run.

How it it as a sprinkle on the ground/doorstep? And if I canât find a small thing of chili powder could I use one of those Hoytâs sachets of cayenne pepper?
Iâm a bit worried about tracking it inside for Melbcat to walk on and lick from her feet.

I orange oil my wooden floors and neither my asthma nor the cats are bothered by it. Everyone is differentâŚ
