db0 also seems pretty well run.
I honestly don’t understand the big issue with hexbear. They seem to be quite progressive, and I’ve yet to have a bad interaction with anyone from that instance. Maybe I just got lucky though. Anecdotes aren’t data, after all.

Yeah, db0 was also pretty good in my experience.
Not sure, but I do remember seeing hexbear.net on !meanwhileongrad@sh.itjust.works quite a few times. They seem to have the same moderation problems lemmy.ml and lemmygrad.ml have.
