StudChud@aussie.zone â¨3⊠â¨months⊠agoI mean, no one has it figured out. We think we do, but we donât know what the future will bring.
Those teaching course should help with teaching you how to handle certain kids, so I wouldnt stress about that. No matter what you do, you wonât be stuck. Itâs okay to decide later that something isnât right and to make changes. If you want to go across the world, or take a break and be bartender here or there, then you should. It may help with you deciding what you want to do. Youâll meet new people and gain different experiences, and all that will contribute to who you are and will be, and help you decide what you want to pursue. But ultimately, you will always have a choice. You can do study later on, change jobs and careers, etc.
Iâm sorry you feel under pressure though, it sucks feeling like a deadline is looming :(

A few more thoughts from someone whoâs of an age where itâs no-longer polite to ask how old I am. (Letâs just say some of the songs I listened to in high school now play on Gold 104 đŤ˘)
Anyway.
The job you start out in wonât be your forever job.
And thereâs a good chance the industry you start in wonât be the same one you retire in.
Lots of people start in one industry and then later go back to TAFE or uni. Or decide to start a business. Or end up working in a profession thatâs different to the one they studied for.
Iâve done it, and so have plenty of other people.
Say you start off as a teacher, and decide after a few years that itâs not for you.
Well, chances are thereâs a lot of soft skills that youâll learn from teaching that will be valuable elsewhere.
And donât worry that you havenât figured it all out yet. Heavens knows I still havenât!
